The restoration and renovation of Village Centre Properties building at 121 North Main Street in Souderton transformed a historic late-19th-century industrial building into a vibrant office and business center while preserving its architectural character. Originally constructed as a cigar factory in the late 1800s, the property was placed on the National Register of Historic Buildings and underwent a comprehensive rehabilitation that carefully retained its historic exterior and industrial features while incorporating modern office suites with all new building systems. As part of Souderton’s broader downtown revitalization effort, the project contributed to ithe economic development along Main Street. The successful adaptive reuse was recognized with the 2010 Montgomery County Revitalization Award for its role in preserving local history and supporting the ongoing renewal of Souderton’s historic commercial core.
