The restoration and renovation of Village Centre Properties at 191 Main Street in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, transformed a historic early-20th-century downtown building into a modern multi-tenant professional office center while preserving its prominent presence within the borough’s commercial district. In addition to being awarded a Pennsylvania Redevelopment Capital Assistance Program grant the building was placed on the National Register of Historic Buildings. Extensive research was done to enable the recreation of the original facade of the property. By reinvesting in a this historic Main Street property, Village Centre Properties contributed to the continued revitalization of downtown Emmaus, supporting local economic growth, encouraging business development, and preserving an important part of the community’s architectural heritage.
